HobbyOGParticipantWhat trade would like to see or someone you would like to be traded?I would like to seee..
Lakers get: AD
Pelicans get: #4th pick, Laker future first, Kuz, Ingram, Hart Bulls #7 Pick
Bulls get: Lonzo Ball
Would like to see Lonzo on another team he needs a fresh start like D-Russell got..
OR
Knicks get: AD
Pelicans get: Knox, Mitchell Robinson, Frank Nitty, #3 Pick and a future first..
RJ and Zion on the same team would be so marketable. And shipping AD to the east is good for the Pelicans.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantKevin Knox had an awful rookie season. Frank Ntilikina has not been good. Why is there now a perception that they have trade value? Even Mitchell Robinson. He has value, but NY media and Knick fans have done this before with Jeremy Lin, Landry Fields, and Timofey Mozgov. Having a rookie with a few good games doesn’t get you a superstar.
I have seen the Lonzo to the Bulls trade rumors floated, but it seems as though it would not learn from why Kris Dunn and Zach LaVine didn’t work out. If the offense is going to let LaVine have the ball as much as the Bulls did (something I tend to think should be up for debate, but does not appear to be where the Bulls are going), they need a backcourt partner who is a good shooter. Lonzo and Dunn with traditional point duties have value, not when playing off a ball-dominant guy like LaVine.

Evan_MilbergParticipantI can’t see the Knicks’ package being appealing to David Griffin, and the Lakers deal as you have it probably doesn’t work either considering the Lakers would probably want more than the #7 pick for Lonzo. Plus, if the Lakers really wanted to trade Lonzo to Chicago, they wouldn’t need N.O. to make that happen.
Griffin seems adamant he can keep AD around. I think the only offer that gets him to reconsider is if Boston puts a deal on the table that includes Tatum, Brown, Smart and one of its first rounders this year.

draftmangtParticipantIn that scenario it doesn’t really matter what the Lakers would want for Ball because what ever they get for him would be go to the Pelicans, from the Lakers perspective it’s all about getting AD.
As for Griffin saying he wants to keep AD, he’s a very savvy GM and knows the chances of AD staying are slim to none. He putting that out the to drive up ADs trade Value.

juves4783Participantchicago is better off with white or garland.
deal with NY should have smith jr. involved either way. good for knicks to open up PG slot for kyrie and better for NOP than ntilikina. if i’m NOP, i’m also making them throw in dotson. he should nice stuff when he got minutes and would give them a shooter to surrond zion.
i’m still thinking ball goes to phoenix. much better fit with that roster and phoenix has been linked to rumors with ball.

draftmangtParticipantLakers get AD
Pelicans get: Kuzma, Ingram, Hart, 4, and 5
Cavs get Lonzo
Lakers get their star to pair with Lebron
Pelicans get 3 nice young pieces and two top 5 picks
Cavs get Ball who’s size, ability to guard multiple positions, and playmaking ability make him an ideal fit next to Sexton.

The GoatParticipantI would like to see anyone but the Lakers or Knicks get AD. Those packages are terrible and neither club should be bailed out by a player or agent having a tantrum holding a franchise at bay. The Knicks and Lakers should be concentrating on drafting themselves out of trouble because if either gets Davis, they are walking into a really poor culture that doesn’t guarantee winning. Small markets can do it the right way – look at the Bucks. The Pelicans should be holding firm. Make AD play or wait for the right offer.
