JDB12ParticipantJalen Lecque just declared for the NBA draft. Not sure about this move. I think he’s someone that could definitely benefit from a year or two (probably two) in college. But with athleticism like that who knows what he’s capable of. It will be tough since he’s not a natural lead guard, and is an undersized 2 in the league; especially when it comes to his weight. But There are more scoring lead guards in the league than ever before and an increase in "positionless" basketball in today’s game, so he definitely could succeed somewhere. Might take a couple years to develop but nonetheless, it will be exciting to see what he can do.

Arc12345ParticipantPortland drafted Anfernee Simmons in the first round not too long ago. He’s been brought along VERY slowly but had a nice final regular season game for the Blazers. He looks to be developing solidly.
Don’t see any reason Lecque can’t do the same thing somewhere. Especially as a superior prospect in my opinion (albeit he’s ranked lower than Simmons was coming out).

high floorParticipantWestbrook’s antics at the media podium after the Portland game. Russ is acting immature with reporters, period. He’s embarrassing his franchise with this childish behavior.
Refering to your topic regarding Jalen, he can declare this year and be fine. Patience needs to be exercised and he needs to be in the right situation. But he’s a high upside prospect

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantIt’s a shame pg signed away his prime to play with this guy. Westbrook does not equate to winning basketball. He could been playing with Lebron and actually playing for rings.
