    Although I think the comparison of Vin Baker that this site has given him, I kinda see a lil serge ibake out of him just a tiny bit slower on his feet. But he has all the physical gifts to succeed at the next level as Ibaka has done fairly well for himself. He can stretch the floor a lil bit with his shooting but I think he does a better job of getting inside which Ibaka has been doing less since his early days in the league. Maybe Kabengele will do the same thing but that’s just what I see with him especially with the wingspan and blocking skills

    In terms of size, length, style of play coming out of school, and performance in college, I think Myles Turner is the guy who is most similar. The danger in that comparison is my hesitancy to believe the extent to which Turner has turned into a knockdown shooter from mid-range and three is likely to be replicated by Kabengele. Granted, Kabengele was a 37 percent shooter from three this past year, but it still feels like a stretch to think his development as an offensive threat from the perimeter will take the same path where that is his game as opposed to a "keep you honest" aspect of it. He also comes across as more mechanical offensively. Regardless, I tend to be bullish on his potential.

       I like the comparison, especially since for whatever reason they are both poor rebounders. I think he is a better three point shooter than advertised. The way he stepped into his perimeter shots with absolutely no hesitation from deep too retty much confirmed it for me. Well see though.
