I May Be WrongParticipantWhen the NBA lockout was in its early stages, I was giving the honor of being "BASED". I changed the name from I May Be Wrong to I May Be Based but had said it would only be temporary until the lockout was lifted. I am a man of my word so I must go back.
However, keep in mind, I will rep the BASED squad like Tebow does Jesus. Just because my name has nopt changed does not mean I will stop swaggin’ to the maximum.
Thank you McBased. It’s been a pleasure being BASED. #SWOOP!

Oh lawd my BASED babies done growed up.
But I think you were already past the point of having enough #swag to leave the nest. It was good times being off topic and cyclo’ing users as a BASED out .Gif posting squad, but your internship at MMA is now over and like so many European teams it is time to let you return to the NBA of this website which is the NBA draft forum.
Fly strong, fly long, and most importantly fly #BASED my son. I will always be here in the off topic section if you ever need my advice.

Jack WoganParticipantAnd while those in charge of the project sought out an ad campaign to squelch the protests, main character Don Draper swung in with his usual brand of logic.

Jack WoganParticipantLin’s departure didn’t stop Madison Square Garden stock from hitting an all-time high of 39.39 on Monday and it won’t stop Dolan from selling tickets at prices that would make small countries blush.

Jack WoganParticipantThe Nets threw themselves a party at Borough Hall to announce the signing of “Brooklyn’s Backcourt,” Deron Williams and Joe Johnson. Then they took their black and white balloons over to the downtown Brooklyn Marriott to announce the re-signing of Brook Lopez. Keep in mind, only one of the aforementioned players was actually a new addition to the team.

Jack WoganParticipantThe Knicks, meanwhile, have responded by renovating their arena and possibly changing their uniforms (a report on Chris Creamer’s Sports Logos News site said a video game image was leaked to YouTube that depicted the Knicks’ new uniforms for the 2012-2013 season).

Jack WoganParticipantIn 2010-11, Toronto gave up 105.4 points per game and was the second-easiest team to score on in the NBA. The Raptors couldn’t stop anyone. Since last summer, Coach Casey has changed the team’s culture and in a lockout shortened season, the Raptors surrendered the ninth-fewest points allowed at 94, while holding teams to the league’s eighth-lowest field goal percentage.

Jack WoganParticipantLast season was the first time in a decade that the Raptors averaged more boards than their opponents and they did it without a dominate rebounder on the team. Rebounding by committee, Ed Davis led the Raptors at 6.6 rebounds per game and Toronto finished the season with the league’s tenth best rebounding differential.

Jack WoganParticipantHowever, creating a turnover was also a problem as the Raptors only averaged 6.5 steals per game compared to the 7.9 league median. Lowry averaged 0.7 more steals than Calderon last season and Fields will replace the steals lost with the departure of Johnson, but further improvements in this area will have to come from player development and better understanding of the team’s defense.

Jack WoganParticipantIf health and chemistry don’t sabotage Colangelo’s plans, the Raptors are a playoff caliber team in the Eastern Conference this season.

Jack WoganParticipantBut just because they’re disappointing, it doesn’t mean they’ll be the worst team in the league. Orlando seems like a more likely candidate for that, and since they’ve now officially entered rebuilding mode, they’d probably welcome a few losses.

Jack WoganParticipantBut we shouldn’t let criticisms of the voting process get in the way of praise for the men and women who get inducted and actually do deserve it. This year’s crop, for example, includes Reggie Miller and Don Nelson, two people more than worthy of enshrinement.
