az, royce da 5’9”, talib kweli, mos def is so underrated, i think lupe is a lil underrated tho lasers wasnt that great cuz of atlantic records

theres more underrated rappers i just cant think of them right now..

Universal- az,black star, and royce the 5’9(Bad meets Evil and Slaughterhouse might bring him back if they continue on) are good ones too

Ok, I am biased because he’s an actor/rapper/singer/comedian/producer and He is one of the hardest working individuals in the entertainment business. His facebook page has less than 100,000 fans but his Culdesac mixtape was one of the best ones. He may not be in the lines of a lyricist as a J. Cole or Kendrick Lamar but he does have A TON of great lines. Sometimes he can make something catchy enough for the radio. Other time he breaks down a story and make it relatable to us. He’s black but he often gets picked on because he’s too "white" (whatever that means)… but now, he’s got a "I DONT CARE WHAT PEOPLE THINK" attitude and he’s arguable my favortie rapper. He’s very underrated IMO

By the way, J. Cole is officially no longer underrated. I do not know a person who is more talked about on this site. He is good, but I do not see him as being underrated, especially not by this site, lol.

The best band no one knows about is Sublime. Punk-thrash/reggae with hip-hop samples. Songs about KRS-One, covers of Peter Tosh and the Greatful Dead. Sound too good to be a three piece band.
