BUT yeah I have had my eye on Wake forest since last summer when they had the #1 recruiting class with Aminu and woods. Then you add teague(the best PG in the country not name steph)and james johnson( i am a college basketball guru so i really have seen a lot of taleneted playes but he is a mold of former freshman of the year RODNEY WHITE out of unc charlotte) they no doubt have the top 5 in america!…what u think?? 1WAKE 2UNC 3GONZAGA 4UCONN 4TEXAS

James-Harden-13Participantyou are not a guru if you think gonzaga is a top 3 team overall or in terms of their starting 5. i can think of at least 5 teams that are better.

Mr.Duke 1426ParticipantI’d like to here who you think has a better starting lineup than gonzaga. The only thing I would change on phenoms list is that I would switch the zags with uconn.

Before this argument can even be made, it’s important to establish whether we’re talking about these lineups with regards to NBA potential or college production.
I’m going to view this as a matter of college production.
1. North Carolina: Lawson / Ellington / Green / Thompson / Hansbrough
2. Connecticut: Price / Dyson / Robinson / Adrien / Thabeet
3. Georgetown: Wright / Sapp / Freeman / Summers / Monroe
4. Wake Forest: Teague / Williams / Aminu / Johnson / McFarland
5. Syracuse: Flynn / Rautins / Devendorf* / Harris / Onuaku
Runners Up: Gonzaga, Arizona State, Michigan State, Louisville.
*I know Jackson starts, but Devendorf plays far more important minutes. It’d be like calling Ginobili a bench player.

SecondfrostParticipantIf you’re talking about the best line-ups in college basketball, you have to mention Baylor. In various mocks across the web, FOUR of Baylor’s players are considered draft worthy: Curtis Jerrells, Kevin Rogers, Mamadou Diene, and Lacedarius Dunn. With the possible exception of Diene, I can’t argue with that assessment. However, there is even more draft potential in the less heralded Bears. Henry Dugat is probably a better point guard prospect at the next level than Jerrells, even though he is forced to play the two. Tweety Carter is terribly undersized at 5’11, but has every bit the long range shooting ability as Stephen Curry. And one of my favorite hustle guys, Quincy Acy, is phenomenal as a freshman forward.

1. UNC
2. Wake
3. L’Ville
4. Georgetown
5. UConn0 -

joelar24ParticipantUNC doesn’t have any players on their team that will be star NBA players so you can’t put them at the top unless you are talking about college basketball players.

bmorebaskekballParticipantUNC has the most talent on there roster of any team in the country. They have more quality college basketball players then anybody in the country. The just can’t defend anybody. I can’t understand why they have not improved defensivly. Defense should take up 75% of there practice time.

J.LopezTeammates Malik Hairston and Maarty Luenen unexpectedly heard their names called but Taylor didn’t.

Siirler Hikayeler Fikralar Programlar Guzel Sozler Resimler freetemplates Taylor was arguably Oregon’s best player last season, but his 6-foot-4 frame makes him a undersized at the next level. Nonetheless, his scoring ability, length and athleticism give him a chance to make in in the league.0 -

jrfloresssParticipanti just HAD to say in referal to the “Phenom” .. u say marquette doesnt have any “sure fire” pros.. does Gonzaga? Daye is the ONLY player on that team with a chance of getting drafted in the 1st round.. and to have UCONN behind gonzaga.. r u serious? i dont even like uconn and i admit they probably have the most talented team in the nation.. they have 2 sure fire pros in kembda walker and hasheem thabeet along with a handful of potental nba prospects.. wake forest also has 2 sure fire pros in teague n aminu but who else besides james johnson can u name who has a legit chance.. either way.. gonzaga doesnt a good team but no way they are #3 you must have attended there or somthing coz they arent that nice. UNC has not only the best team in the nation but the best starting lineup as well. sorry guru.

Al-Farouq AminuParticipantIf Teague returens, which he will, we’ll be better than UNC and Dooke
Tony Woods (5 star)
Ty Walker ( 5 star)
MYSELF ( top 5 pick in ’10)
LD Williams (ACC all-defensive team)
Jeff Teague (top 10 pick in ’10)Now that JJ has left, Tony and Ty will get a lot of minutes and they’ll develop into legit star
