I mean’t to post this up a long time ago but I was listining to chris vernon a radio show host on 730 foxsports in memphis a i was listening to him and i must agree James is the nba’s best player right now. There is no way that a team can go with one of the best records in the nba and then lose it’s star player end up as the worst team in the nba and that player not being the greatest in the nba. Now I Know that i could be similar with say kobe leaving a few years ago without Pau Gasol  but Lebron is right now the best payer in the Nba. Now I know there’s the argument that the heat haven’t been playing like they should be but i think that’s because they haven’t still got the ball to there clucth player in Dwayne Wade . Then you might say that if lebron is the nba’s best player why isn’t he clucth? I just dson’t know and I never really thought of him as a go to guy in the closing seconds. But he is just the best player hands down right now just needs to polish his offensive game.

Until Lebron’s Heat beats Kobe’s Lakers in the finals, then Lebron will never be the best and in my mind will always be considered as Lebrick. Kobe is still the best player in my eyes, even though I hate to admit it, I do respect him and his team, even though I secretly hate them. Lakers will most likely 3 peat unless Rose and Bulls do something amazing which could happen but I doubt it, and Lebron has no chance of upsetting Kobe or Rose because he always chokes come playoff time when it really counts. And Boston well they are the Celtics and that luck of the irish and smart play of Ray Ray and Paul Pierce could lead them to a title but it won’t be easy upsetting the defending 2 time champion Lakers.

Lakers are the favorites but the Celtics have a good shot they’ll probaby have homecourt.  Also if they should have only 1 tough round in the East that being the Conf. Finals.  A lot depends on Shaq being healthy, KG and the others seem healthy.  Green’s scoring will help the offense the main problem they have is keeping the Lakers bigs off the glass.  If they do that I think they’ll pull it out and once again win a title without a top 5 or 10 player.  Kobe is the best closer and might still be the best player in the league though I think Wade is close to surpassing him.

Lebron just isn’t as clutch also his great All NBA 1st defense I haven’t seen it against Mello and Durant esp. recently.  Thought Lebron was the MVP easily the last 2 years and the Cavs didn’t really have any stars.  Don’t think that Lebron is responsible for all those wins.  They did play defense as a team and this past offseason lost Shaq, Big Z, Varajeo and when you have no star a team struggles.  Usually when a team loses a great player they replace him with someone but who did the Cavs replace Lebron with.
