Who would be the most improved player in the NBA thus far? What do you think?

Is it Dorell Wright, who has more than doubled his numbers from 7.1 pts to 16.2 pts pere game and rebounding from 3.3 rbs to 6.0 rebounds as well? Not to mention 3.0 assists and 1.4 steals per game instead of 1.3 apg and 0.7spg. he also doubled his minutes though from 20.8 to 38.9.

Or is it Michael Beasley who goes from 14.8 pts to 21.8 ptsper game and ranks 14th in scoring, although he rebounds a little less than last year. He goes with 43.9 from behind the arc, instead of 27.5, makng more shots per game than last year

Or … is it JaVale McGee, who more than doubled his rebounding from 4.0 to 8.3 per game, raised his blocking from 1.7 to 2.6, ranking 2nd in that category (points 6.2 to 9.4 with improved field goal percentige)

Or – is it Roy Hibbert, who was a favorite in pre-season statements about the prospects, who may come out as the most improved player of the year… ( he´s been solid – from 11.7 pts to 13.6 pts per game, from 5.7 rbs to 8.2 rbs per game, and from 1.6 bpg to 1.9 bpg – although he´s fgp has dropped a bit

Or… is it Kris Humphries, who almost tripled his rebounding from 3.8 to 9.2, doubled blocks from 0.4 to 1.0 per game, raised fgp from 46.1 to 53.6 and also, improved his personal life from point zero to Kim Kardashian

Or is it Jrue Holiday, who doubled his assists per game from 3.8 to 6.5 and improved his scoring from 8.0 to 14.3 ppg, although hes % from three point line has dropped some – from 39% to 35.9%

Or is it Kevin Love, who was a really good player already, but still has managed to improve significantly going from solid 11.3 rpg to amazing 15.0 rpg, from 14 ppg to 20.9 ppg and shooting amazing 43.7% instead of 33% las season? He has also raised his bets from free throw line, going from solid 81.5 % last season to superior 88.1%, ranking 11th in the league and beating Kevin Durant, Dirk Nowitzki and lot of others.

    Or is it somebody else?

For me – it is clearly between Dorell Wright and Kevin Love. I have to go with Dorell Wright right now, as he made it to the starting 5 in Golden State and has cemented himself in there.

But I guess at the end of the day KLove may end up better, because of his unhuman consistency, which may allow him to maintain his stat-numbers throughout the whole season.

i would say the awards so far should be:

    MVP: Derrick Rose

    ROY: Blake Griffin

    MIP: Russell Westbrook

    Defensive POY: Dwight Howard

    Comeback POY: Richard Jefferson

    this isn’t a real award but…

    LVP: Tyreke Evans

Wes Matthews should get some credit here as MIP, he’s done well in Roy’s absence to help keep Portland afloat. Not a big fan of his, but he has improved tremendously from last year, where he was a defensive specialist only.

Eric Gordon is another potential MIP candidate, he is looking like a bona fide stud these days and really grew from his Team USA experience.

Tyreke shouldn’t be LVP, but perhaps LIP would fit the bill for him haha he’s done nothing to improve this season, and even taken a step back; though injuries haven’t helped.
