Most players have a handful of games under their belt and conference play is either here or rapidly approaching. With this being the case, my brother and I decided to discuss All-American possibilities this week on Viseland.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiqWu3hsbg4

Would greatly appreciate anyone who likes, subscribes, comments! We go over the conferences we feel have candidates and get into a little about why each are possibilities. At the end, we name our three All-American teams and give a Freshman All-American team. Does Cade Cunningham make the 1st team? How many players are on there from Gonzaga and Baylor? Listen to find out!

In the meanwhile, as always with these threads, hoping you guys will give your All-American predictions. Who do you feel will be on the All-American teams at seasons end, or who has impressed you thus far? Interesting to see. Luka Garza I think still the favorite for player of the year. Jalen Suggs, Cade Cunningham and Evan Mobley look like All-American locks if they keep playing like they have been, just a matter of whether they are 1st, 2nd or 3rd team.

Happy Holidays!!! Thanks for the Viseland again…

My 3 Wwwwwaaaaaaaay to early small sample size All American teams:

    1st Team
    Jared Butler – Baylor
    Jalen Suggs – Gonzaga
    Marcus Carr – Minnesota
    Drew Timme – Gonzaga
    Luka Garza – Iowa

    2nd Team
    Kendric Davis – SMU
    Joe Wieskamp – Iowa
    Ochai Agbaji – Kansas
    Ron Harper, Jr. – Rutgers
    Evan Mobley – USC

    3rd Team
    Cade Cunningham – Oklahoma State
    Trendon Watford – LSU
    Quentin Grimes – Houston
    Corey Kispert – Gonzaga
    Trayce Jackson-Davis – Indiana

    **Outside looking in Players**
    Miles McBride – West Virginia
    Malachi Smith – Chattanooga
Keyontae Johnson – Florida (assuming he’s really back)
    Hayden Brown – the Citadel
    Emanuel Miller – Texas A&M.

One thing I noticed is that you have Ayo Dosunmu on your 1st Team. He’s definitely a player I’ve got my eye on also, but in the heavyweight individual G matchups he hasn’t been winning the battles. IMO Jason Preston out played Ayo and so did Carr. For that combined with Illinois record and that Ayo has help in Kofi Cockburn makes me critique him a little bit closer on making the All American teams so far yet… he reminds me a bit of NAW… anyways,

Can’t argue anybody you mentioned as an honorable mention player, but I can maybe add a few shout outs that you may have left out for All-American long shots so far this year or at least talented players…

    Hunter Dickinson – Michigan
    MaCio Teague – Baylor
    Adam Flagler – Baylor
    Kevin Samuel – TCU
    RJ Membhard – TCU
    EJ Liddell – Ohio State
    McKinley Wright IV – Colorado
    Chris Duarte – Oregon
    James Akinjo – Arizona
    Jemari Barker, Jr. – Arizona
    Timmy Allen – Utah
    Isaac Bonton – Washington State
    Noah Williams – Washington State
    Efe Abogidi – Washington State
    Tre Mann – Florida
    Justin Powell – Auburn
    Devontae Shuler – Ole’ Miss
    Toumani Camara – Georgia
    Quincy Guerrier – Syracuse
    Devon Daniels – NC State
    Jordan Goodwin – St. Louis
    Jalen Johnson – Alabama A&M
    Ben Harvey – Southern Illinois
    Marcus Domask – Southern Illinois
    Roman Penn – Drake
    Shanquan Hemphil – Drake
    Loudon Love – Wright State
    Justin Roberts – Georgia State
    Theo Akwuba – Louisiana
    Alex Barcello – BYU
    Tommy Kuhse – St. Mary’s
Derrick Alston, Jr. – Boise State
Marcus Shaver, Jr. – Boise State
    RayJ Dennis – Boise State
    Chandler Vaudrin – Winthrop
    Jarrod West – Marshall
    Brandon Horrath – UMBC
    Fardaws Aimaq – Utah Valley
    Luke Smith – Belmont

Just players I believe you left out, but you might have mentioned 1 or 2.

Thanks for the viseland again, and for pointing out the Pepperdine players… I was sleeping on that team altogether as a unit and forgot they had that dynamic combo.

P.S. Spot on – on your shout outs to Devate’ Jones from Coastal Carolina and Loren Cristian-Jackson from Akron.

I also forgot to give a long shot mention to Jayden Gardner out of East Carolina.
