Let me know if you would like to join our Fantasy Basketball League. A bunch of us from this forum have been doing it for…years. Theres also some people that used to post here a long time ago that still play with us like Mooch. Its a fun way to watch the NBA Season and invest some stock in something other than the home team.
Anyways we do a 20 team league, live snake draft. Scoring is head to head each category- last year we did 3 point percentage as one of the categories and I think some people wanna change that to either turnovers or have both its up in the air. Heres the link for anyone who wants to join. One team only per person for now I can fill a 20 team league in three days if I wanna spam all the forums but since were early this year lets try to be patient.
I wanna draft before preseason. This may cause loss to injury but will also not give us as many hints on who is in shape out of shape and makes a better competitive edge in my opinion. Draft is currently scheduled for December, Friday the 4th but we can change it.

Btw everyone has been deleted from the league other than the league managers. I’ve sent a invitation through email to all of last years owners but due to the long inactivity I decided to go ahead and do it this way.

Looked over things and they look solid. Only 2 questions:
Should we stick with 12 playoff teams? I wouldn’t go any less as the more playoff teams should mean keeping owners interested longer. I’m good with 12, just seeing how others feel.
Is draft time correct? Seems late for where you guys are at.
Draft times not set just the initial date. Its all flexible though. And yeah I think 12 is the best way to go. Keeps more people engaged.
Man if you have been doing it for years for majority of same people you need to make it a keeper league makes it so much funner being able to trade future draft picks and make rebuilding moves if your team is shitty. Keeps all owners much more engaged.
Keeper leagues never last unless its money involved and the core of our league is usually the same 5 or 6 people. People wont recommit to a keeper league that they know they are gonna lose. There also seems to be one of us who doesnt show up every year. For instance I think five years ago I didnt play, the other year Mooch decided to stop hosting which is why I host now and lmao I think I forgot to send Paul Nilon an invite or ghe missed it and he took it personal. Came back on a rampage talkin shit to everyone lol.
Anyways the last couple years we have had 12-15 active people active which is good for a free league. You should join its a fun way to watch the league.
I have ran keeper basketball, football, baseball leagues for about 10 years now majority same people, but if someone drops you just replace them and the person takes over their team. In basketball we only keep 5 guys so draft starts in Round 6 and it is a free highly competitive league with shit talking and bragging rights haha.
Hey if your joining why dont you say something so we know whos competing 🤣. Or does this site really have that many lurkers.
I think that’s how we getting so many dropouts. Some lurker sees a fantasy league, joins and then never does anything past that. Be nice to get some actual known posters haha

You should be able to just click the link its an invite to the league page. Are you signed into your account? Im not sure what the issue could be.
