This one is tough. This is where I had Avdija going. I could see them going for a wing like Isaac Okoro or Devin Vassell, but surely…..I get the fact that Coby White is there. He isn’t a true PG. He’s a lot like Jamal Murray. They need a playmaker. Best available…LaMelo Ball. Killian Hayes could also be an option but Ball should be a no brainer here. The Bulls seem to be after him and are considering trading up to get him by the looks of it. I get some people don’t like Markannen and he had a disappointing year. Jim Boylen was a worse coach and only had Markannen shooting corner 3’s and really just limited him entirely. I don’t think he is a star by I don’t think he will ever be as bad as he was this season till hes in his 30’s. If they take Toppin that I’m for putting Garpax back in charge. JK! But still.

Sounds like Bulls are open to adding a point guard and having White in more of a 6 man role. Being that Ball is the best player on the board and is a decent fit, I’d go with Ball. Not going to be a good defensive team, but this should make their offense better. Could go up tempo with White-Lavine-Ball in a 3 guard lineup.

I even think they should take Ball although I believe Toppin is clearly the best player available. Chicago’s in a weird position where they suck, but they already have a ton of talented young players who they’re still developing. So they can afford to risk a high-ceiling/low-floor pick like LaMelo here. He might not see the court much this year, especially if they extend a qualifying offer to Dunn and he accepts it. But that’s OK.

Kris Dunn has been playing Small Forward as crazy as it sounds. It’s why he was playing as much as he was because he didn’t have the ball in his hands so I don’t think it would impact LaMelo going there.

But Rudeboy…easily could be smoke but…Oladipo works in Minnesota. I’d imagine they give up more too. Maybe Myles Turner, Victor Oladipo, and a Lottery Protected 2021 1st? for James Johnson and Pick 1 and 17?

Haha. I forgot about that. Ok 2022 first. Minnesota keeps it if it’s top 3, otherwise its GSW. But if not, that would be so scary. I don’t want to imagine Cade Cunningham, Evan Mobley, or Johnathan Kuminga on GSW. It hurts my brain.

I’m not as high on Jalen Green, but I guess I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go Top 3 as well.

Ball seems to be the consensus here but I don’t like the fit in Chicago with ball dominant guards like lavine and white in place. If they do take ball I think it would likely mean they are going to shake up the roster, which might not necessarily be a bad idea. What Chicago currently lacks is wing talent, outside of Otto Porter who is extremely overpriced and on the last year of his contract. I would have liked Deni here, but since he’s off the board I’ll go with Isaac Okoro.

Given there is an overwhelming consensus I’m going to stop this one a little early.

LaMelo Ball will be recorded as the #4 Pick to the Chicago Bulls. Still feel free to put down who you think will go #4.
