Might as well just pick a team that’s actually won multiple titles.

Can’t rebuild the peak of Showtime with Magic, Kareem and Worthy though. Too expensive.

But I can basically reassemble the early version, the team that won in ’80 and ’82. Magic ($5), Kareem ($5), Wilkes ($3), Nixon ($1). That leaves me with $1 for a power forward, I’ll take Horry, who is probably an upgrade over Kurt Rambis and Jim Chones (who’s name I only remember because for a long time I thought the announcers were saying “Jim Jones”).

So, Magic, Nixon, Wilkes, Horry, Kareem.
