    Best: Vlade Divac (1989)
Divac was one of the first international players to have success in the NBA, and was an incredible find for the Lakers late in the first round. He arrived the year after Kareem retired, and filled the hole at center. He was a very productive player almost immediately. Although his best contribution to the franchise may be the fact that he was traded for Kobe Bryant, he had a very nice string of seasons with the Lakers as well. He also had a second act and was a vital piece with the Sacramento teams that battled the Lakers in the early 2000s.
Other notables: Taj Gibson (2009) George Hill (2008) Kevin Martin (2004) John Salmons (2001) Jerome Williams (1996) Victor Fleming (1984)

    Worst: Geert Hammink (1993)
The Magic were so drunk off the success of Shaquille O’Neal after his rookie season that they decided to draft his backup at LSU the next summer. Lets just say this one didn’t work out quite as well. Hammink was a stiff whose career lasted a grand total of 8 games.
Other notables: Nikola Mulitinov (2015) Ndudi Ebi (2003) Sam Jacobson (1998) Sherrell Ford (1995) Dave Johnson (1992) Rolando Ferreira (1988)
