    Best: Norm Nixon (1977)
Went with Norm Nixon over George McGinnis here. McGinnis was drafted by the Sixers in 1973 but remained in the ABA for 2 more seasons. You could argue that he had the more impressive overall career than Nixon, but a large portion of his prime was spent playing in the ABA. In the three seasons he played for Philadelphia, he put up impressive number but the Sixers were unable to win a title despite having probably the most talented team in the league at the time. After that, his career went downhill pretty fast. Nixon won 2 titles with the Lakers and was regularly among the NBA’s assist leaders despite sharing the backcourt with Magic Johnson. He made 2 All-Star teams in his career.
Other notables: Truck Robinson (1974) Johnny Davis (1976) Scott Skiles (1986) Reggie Lewis (1987) Kenneth Faried (2011)

    Worst: Jordan Adams (2014)
There were several much better options for the Grizzlies at 22 in 2014, including Rodney Hood (23), Clint Capela (25), Bogdan Bogdonovich (27), Joe Harris (33). Instead they took Adams, a shooter who proved to be too slow and one-dimensional to be able to play in the NBA. His career lasted just 32 games.
Other contenders: Fab Melo (2012) Victor Claver (2009) Jeryl Sasser (2001) Ed Gray (1997) Bill Curley (1994)
