Not an ideal trade because Kyrie wants to play with Durant, but if you looked past that, it seems to be Simmons is a much better fit on a team like Brooklyn, basically surrounded by shooters

Kylie Irving has missed 25% of his career due to injury. Why would any GM want to combine that with Embiid’s injury history. In addition to getting rid on a two way player who is almost never injured aside from that first year. Also it seems like Irving is pretty much disliked wherever he goes and his team seems to play better when he is replaced. As a Sixers fan I want no part of that shit

Looking past the fact that this trade upsets both Durant and Irving I’d still say no if I’m Philly. The thing the 76ers really need the most is the same thing that took Toronto to the next level. A solid leader everyone could look to that settled those nerves in tense moments. Toronto got Kawhi Leonard and the whole team has taken his mentality still to this day. I dont think Irving has that calm sense of belief from all his teammates.

No way I’d trade Simmons for Kyrie. Of course Ben would be better on the Nets. The only fault Simmons has is lack if shooting, but it’s not like he’s jacking bad shots and shooting poor percentages. He’s top ten in FG percentage and plays to his range. Every year his FT percentage has improved (only slightly, but still), and he is younger. Both the Nets and Sixers would be better with him.
Kyrie’s shooting may be better for the Sixers offense but they lose on the other end, and from all reports, would need to deal with his locker room ego.
