Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantIt’s safe to say that both these guys have been considered major disappointments thus far in their career. Ball hasn’t lived up to the outsized and ridiculous expectations that were put on him by his father and the lakers organization when drafted, and fultz hasn’t been able to stay healthy and seemingly forgot how to shoot the ball. However, while both still have major flaws in their games, they have shown signs of turning the corner and at least developing into solid rotation level players this season.
Ball has somewhat corrected his shooting form and is making a respectable 36% from deep this season. He is no longer a guy you can ignore as a spot up threat. Of course, he still has no mid-range game whatsoever, rarely gets to the line and shoots an abysmal 52% when he does get there.
Fultz has finally been able to stay on the court this year and has looked explosive driving to the basket. He is beginning to show at least some of the promise that made him the number one pick in 2017, although the jump shot is still probably a ways away from being anything close to serviceable.
It’s safe to say that if a 2017 redraft were held today neither of these guys is going number one. However, they both have shown some promise and do a lot of really useful things on the court. If you had to choose one based on what we’ve seen so far, who would you say has the better long-term potential right now and why?1+ -

RUDEBOY-ParticipantIf I had to choose between the two of them. Ball is my guy. He has his struggles offensively. But u know what u r getting him him each night. He’s 1 of the top defensive guards in the league. 1 of premier rebounding and playmaking guards in the league. And lately he’s taking guards off the dribble. Did it to Patrick Beverly twice last week.
