So I heard he has been ruled ineligible for Oregon’s first 10 games this season. Is that true and why?
It is true he can re-enroll on December 14th. He didn’t turn in his paperwork to the NCAA Clearinghouse in time.
When it comes to “not turning your paperwork to the NCAA Clearinghouse in time”, think that in many cases that is the NCAA taking their sweet time to clear a player. At least, from what I have heard, is what happened in this case. Am hoping he enrolls for Winter term, Oregon really could use him. They were absolutely destroyed on the boards against Houston, it will catch up to them eventually. Shooting and experience is saving Oregon right now.
Dante would be a major help down low. He can definitely rebound, not the best rim protector, but he is so big and long. It is not a guarantee he ends up playing from what I have heard, but still is a chance. If not, he may just train and enter the draft. Hoping to see him in Eugene after the originally reported nine games are up.
