    Early in the season how would you rank the current MVP race? Pretty tough to rank so early but the 6 guys I think leading the way right now are Giannis, Doncic, Harden, Siakam, Towns and Lebron. Maybe Booker as well should get a mention. Jokic got off to a slow start. Leonard, Davis and Embiid have missed some games which hurts their cause. Beal, Liliard and Irvings teams havent been good enough to put up there at the moment.

    Also I think Westbrook and Harden kind of cancel eachother out and same for Davis and Lebron unless injuries happen. Hard to vote for Harden with the way he plays and how high his usage is. Lebron has been great though. Kinda feel like someone from Boston should also be up there Walker deserves a mention but the teamms just so well rounded no one is really carrying.

    How would you rank them?

    Too early to tell – heart goes with Luka of course but I’d have to go with Lebron right now. Yes he does have AD but he’s being all that he was supposed to be last year.

    Lebron (close to triple double AVG; top team west)
    Luka (close to triple double AVG, team above average and with below average supporting cast, KP not there yet)
    Siakam (lone raptor, might as well get another most improved player award)
    Giannis (4th scorer, 2nd rebounder)

      Why dont you have Harden in there? I dont necessarily disagree just wondering whats your take.

        I really don’t like what Harden is doing nor I think it is of any major use to team basketball. As it is most Valuable player we’re talking about I’m looking for added value for a team. Harden could be of much more value if he’d ever change his style of play.

    If I had to pick one out East it would be Giannis because he’s clearly better than Siakam and also shut him down when they met in Milwaukee. Out West like Klemmen said I wanna go with Doncic but Lebron is clearly better, team has a better record and same thing he beat out Doncic’s team when the two met.

    So far I’d say.
    1)Giannis
    2)Lebron
    3)Doncic
    4)Siakam
    5)Harden

    Something about Harden’s play this year is just disappointing.

    I think early on it is a 3 person race between Giannis, Harden, and Doncic.

    Doncic is putting up some crazy numbers in just his 2nd season and could be the earliest winner of the MVP award in an NBA career. But the Mavs would need to be a top 3 or so team out West for him to really be in contention IMO.
    But he must be a virtual lock for MIP given the stats he is producing.
