James wiseman ruled ineligible by the NCAA

Can anyone explain why? Didnt he get cleared to play in Spring and wasn’t this all put behind him? If he wasn’t cleared to play why didnt they rule him ineligible sooner instead of waiting until the beginning of the season. He couldve gone to Australia to play like Ball and Hampton. Memphis couldve recruited someone to replace him and/or Achiuwa who joined Memphis to play with Wiseman couldve gone somewhere else. Why do they do things so ass backwards they seriously just ruined this season for me I’ve got a real sour taste in my mouth.

It is really a bad thing for James but perhaps it is not such a serious tragedy I don’t really know what americans think, but in Europe many people believe NCAA basket program is really something useless, today. Low level, too many weak teams, often players out of role due to the needs of their teams. It would be better they jump in GLeague, if possibile, or more competitive international championship.. May be Wiseman could take the time to prepare for the NBA in other, perhaps better ways

Yeah he was cleared to play in May. But the NCAA received more info on the situation and ruled him ineligible. This is unfair to college b ball fans. Especially for people in Memphis and fans of the Tigers that were so hyped to see this kid play. And contend for the title. But Penny and the NCAA are at fault.
