high floorParticipant1.) Shai Gilgeous Alexander is going to make a lot of teams regret passing on him in last year’s draft.
2.) The Bagley injury significantly reduces Sacramento’s playoff odds, given the 7-8 seed will be so competetive.
3.) Kendrick Nunn of the Miami Heat will be a valuable rotation player this year, and possibly start next to Jimmy Butler moving forward
4.) Pascal Siakam will easily make the All Star team this year
5.) Matisse Thybulle will solidify the Sixers defense as #1 in NBA
6.) DeJounte Murray’s contract will immediately look like a steal
7.) Will Barton will have a redemption season, and push back Michael Porter’s minutes
8.) Portland will really miss their wing depth
9.) Luka Doncic will make a serious push for All NBA honors, and will average at least 25ppg this season
10.) Markelle Fultz will be starting for the Magic by January

TarHeelRavenParticipantI’m all in on the Luka hype. I really haven’t seen anybody this young and and skilled ever. With his weight loss and added quickness and athleticism, man if this guy stays healthy, he’s going to be scary.

high floorParticipantLebron in his 2nd year, age 20 season, averaged 27, 7, 7. ‘Bron averaged 2.2stls, 47% FG, 75% FT line at a crazy 42.5 minutes per game clip.
I think Luka will put up something similar. Less minutes, less steals, slightly lower FG, more threes.

mowestenParticipantMore rebounds. Luka will be a Larry Bird-type rebounder and average around 10 per game IMO. LeBron has had some good years and good runs rebounding the call, but to me, he should have averaged 10+ for his career. Guys with less ability have done infinitely more rebounding the ball that’s for sure.

Memphis MadnessParticipantVideo Game Luka will be GREAT for the league!
Anyone have any Zion predictions? I think it is too early to say.
Ja looks good. Reminds me for some reason of a 6’3, better passing Michael Jordan. Look kid, no pressure!!! HOWEVER, the Heat was running the JORDAN RULES against him. The posters on the Grizz board pointed it out basically.
If Zion can be even 80% of Video Game Zion then the league is headed for a good era. Somewhere between the basketball version of the Attitude Era with shades of the ABA’s Golden Age.
Shades of the great Magic/Bird/Jordan Era.
Siakam might be a legit MVP contender.
Whoever gets in the playoffs has a fair shot at getting to the Finals or even winning the whole thing.
The Lakers will look like legit title contenders some nights, and absolute FRAUDS other nights.
Don’t write off the Raps.

Scrooge McDuckParticipantSiakam looks like an 2nd or 3rd all nba. Realistically in contention for MIP again, maybe MVP. Portland is missing chemistry from last year’s wings. They look alright on paper (Hood, Bazemore, Henonja, Simons) The blazers have role players trying to fit in and find a role in the league.. 7 ft Zach Collins starting at PF is a lot different from aminu/harkless.

The GoatParticipant– Porzingis needs to average more than 4 boards a game but the Mavs could end up 7 or 8 seed and Luka will go close to all NBA first team honors.
– Spurs have a big logjam at guard, White and Mills sharing backup minutes while Walker can’t even get on
– Jabari Parker could turn it around In Atlanta
– PJ Washington a nice surprise, Scary Terry as expected
– Giannis to repeat as MVP
– DSJ soon to be on the block for the Knicks

OhCanada-ParticipantDovonte Graham could end up saving Charlotte. Has looked way better than scary Terry.

Andv1 WaitingParticipant1) Shai has a good feel for the game, I am really glad we got him back in the P.G trade would have also been nice if the clippers had taken MPjr and we had gotten him in the trade to lol.
2) Bagley is a key piece to their core..So I could even see him meaning the difference to them making it or not if he doesn’t recover properly.
2a) I think the Kings will also miss Jaegar,as I don’t think Walton will make the Kings actually better over him.As walton seems to maybe not utillize players correctly…I am predicting Fox will have an average season under him also…
3) Nunn…Hard call depends on what spot you are playing him? Is he a PG,SG or other? As Herro is probably going to be their SG, Butler is probably already their SF. But I do see Nunn being a key role player possible starter.
4)Agreed if he keeps balling, + East is really weak in terms of talent depth so he should easily do this.
5) Haven’t seen much of him is he doing well?
6) Maybe, But its a Steph curry type deal security(ankle injury history) vs balling out hoping for a max and having another injury ruin things being out of the league..I also see this deal a little like you took me when no one else would(the guy was a late first) sort of payback deal.. As he had semi major injury.
7)Hard to say as MPJr is a PF/SF/SG and Barton is a SF/SG/P.G so could be fine and both get their minutes. As apparently Nuggets are high on MPjr..
8)Agreed..But that is what they get for maxing out C.J and Dame who IMO will never get past the WCF..Well this year is their only chance if the do hope for that..
9) Luka should do this due to Klay being out, I could see this as long as someone doesn’t do similar number and their team have a better record…So like Khris Middleton for example(not saying he will but he could put big numbers up also)
10) Futlz I really hope his injuries are behind him as he has some nice skills to be starter for the Magic…He defintely has looked solid for the Magic so far.
