OhCanada-ParticipantNice to kickoff yet another season. Wish I couldve seen Zion play his first game live but oh well guess it wasnt meant to be. This should be another very good season with all the changes the best players in the league have made. If you go one through 10 in your own personal top 10 players in the league about 50% of them have switched teams in the last two summers.
I think the league is the most talented it has ever been and this year it really is anyones ball game. With all the movement there are tons of teams that can assert themselves and young teams that could rise to the top, I’m sure we will be shocked by how it all plays out.

OhCanada-ParticipantWell its still early. I actually want them to start Terrence Davis the rookie and then have Van Vleet and Powell come off the bench. But Van Vleet has been a leading scorer so far tonight and we really need his offense. Siakam seems to be struggling with the increased help defense and coverage so far.
Nico Melli is a sharpshooter! This Pelicans team has really surrounded Williamson with shooters at every position.

mowestenParticipantI’ll be honest, I almost didn’t recognize Jahlil Okafor on the court tonight. He might not ever be a great NBA player or live up to some of the expectations, but he took a lot of grief for being out of shape and perhaps a little overweight early in his career.
Kudos to him for trimming down and getting in great shape. I’m impressed. Guy has obviously put in some work and I can respect that.

OhCanada-ParticipantOf all the basketball Ive watched so far this year Mua Harkless seems like the player that has improved his game the most.

Scrooge McDuckParticipantI didn’t understand Gentry’s lineup in the 4th quarter. Was lonzo / favors injured? Reddick only played the last two minutes. Frank Jackson and Okafor got all the crunch time minutes. I hope Gentry is intentionally tanking, because that looked like preseason.
If the Lakers keep getting favored by the lib tards I’ll be rich by the end of the season

cohenbc1ParticipantSome guys I didn’t expect to be in the rotation, even with injuries:
Terence Davis, Raptors … Who?
Nicolo Melli, Pelicans … Wow!
Troy Daniels, Lakers … Thought he was just a roster-filler, and Caruso was next man up for the Lakers.
Patrick Patterson, Clippers … Thought his career was basically over after 2 dismal seasons in OKC.
I guess these guys really busted their asses in training camp.
