     Daryl Morey has a Bachelor’s from Northwestern and Gradute degree from MIT. 

    Lebron has a High School diploma. Trust me. Daryl Morey knows what he is talking about.

    Democracy and capitalism is the only reason Lebron is sitting in a mansion right now playing the sport he loves for an ungodly amount of money. There is hardly any diversity in China and I urge you to do a quick google search on how Black people are treated in mainland China. This is a country that steals all of our intellectual property and treats black people less than freak show like.

    I’ll be boycotting LBJ and The Lakers, I’m ready to Boycott anyone who sides with China in this situation.

     To be fair, Moreys tweet was poorly timed and put the lakers and nets in a very uncomfortable situation. The players had been specifically warned beforehand by the nba and the Chinese government not to make any political statements regarding the situation in China and they were strictly there to be ambassadors for the league. So I can see where the frustration and this idea of there being a double standard between what players and executives are allowed to speak out about came from. 

    Even though I don’t think Morey was wrong in any way for saying what he did, I think he probably should have at least been more conscientious and realized the impact his tweet would potentially have. Still, lebron definitely left himself open for a lot of criticism with his response and his word choice could have clearly been more thought out. By calling Morey "uneducated" on the matter without any real basis or explanation he ends up being the one who winds up appearing to be uneducated. You would think someone who has dealt with the media as much as lebron in his career would have more savvy dealing with a situation as delicate as this.

     Pretty clear that James was just told to say this shit. I dont think hes supporting Communist Chinese regimes. I think he was just saying nows not the time to make a stance.

      LBJ likes to be a social justice warrior. Hong Kong is fighting to keep some of their freedoms and he just folds and sides with China becuase he makes more money from china. If now is not the time to take a stance when is? When China does something drastic to Hong Kong?

    While I believe Lebron should’ve remained silent, I also find the boycotting of Lebron and the NBA to be an overreaction. The only people free to speak about how Lebron is money grabbing by bowing to China are the ones who give up their iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks; agree to never drive a Benz or Audi again; never buy products from Nike, Ray-Ban, or Vans; never fly Delta or American or stay at Marriot brand hotels; and refuse to support anything Disney including ESPN, ABC, Marvel Universe, and Mickey freaking Mouse. Until they do all that, they’ll still be supporting companies who bend the knee to China. Hypocrisy is a funny game…

       If a situation arose in which any of the companies you listed were suddenly in the spotlight, with questions from reporters coming at them fast and furiously regarding the tyrannical, murderuous, enslaving regime in China, any of them most certainly would have no problem denouncing the human bondage, rather than playing the "I’m no politician" card. The fact that they have operations there absolutely does not mean that they agree with or believe in a brutal government that runs roughshod over individual rights and liberties.

     I would love to add my two cents worth about this.

    I was treated like a freak in China too. I’m a ‘white’ guy from Australia, and was with a friend who had a massive heard. I think I took about 50 photos, saw people taking my picture in the streets and a lot of weird stuff like that. I think if you are not Asian, in some parts of China (some more than others) treat you like a freaking celebrity. I honestly don’t think they see many Australian’s, this was in Chengdu btw.
