    He’s looked good in a Bucks uniform this preseason. Going to the Suns really hurt him as did hurting his ankle in his rookie season, they looked like a team with no chemistry and no guidance for young players especially ones adjusting to a new culture at such a young age. 

    Its only a few games in 18 minutes per game 13.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.5 blocks per game. 60% FG, 54% 3PT and 85% FT is very impressive. But whats really encouraging is since he’s been with the Bucks he looks confident and hes playing basketball with a real purpose. Playing for coach Bud in that open system and playing alongside Giannis who defenitely went through the same process as Bender as both were highly drafted Euro prospects the fit is perfect for him to succeed.

    Really excited to see what he can bring to the table this season and if he can ultimately be a successor to Ilyasova.

     Bender Island is like the island Tom Hanks was on in Castaway. 

    He is still young. He was far too green coming into the league. At least he’s next to Giannis, and has Ilyasova and the Lopez twins to work with. The way he plays, it’s going to be hard for him to crack any kind of regularly acceptable standard unless his shooting numbers stay red hot for a long period or he swats everything away at the rim.

     He is in a really good situation, actually near perfect situation. I hope he can turn his career around.

     He’s in a good situation and can be a low risk high upside signing. The Bucks can use him similar to how they tried to use Maker. The guy is still only 21 years old so there must be some upside there. I do wonder if he came to the NBA too soon, he’d have only been automatically eligible this year.

     i agree with hitster, it reminds me of Thon 2.0 scenario, not too much pressure but hopes of a high ceiling.

     I’ve bought real estate on Bender Island too. I sold up my holdings on Hezonja Island. I think the Bucks have got him at the right time. He’s always been talented, but I think the Sun’s and him were a bad fit. Hopefully a change of scenery and he will be able to flourish.

    Leaving the suns is the best thing for A LOT of people in the last 5-6 years.

    So many examples, execs, players, it’s unfair….

    So you can bet on Bender(and his gum)becoming an nba player(in a winning team as a 22yo player, not so much as an 18yo skinny, softie, shy draftee in a heavy tanking team, alongside another 18yo draftee at his position,without a legit bigmen or a PG at that time).

    Tj Warren will be more than fine with the pacers, he won’t play the PF spot averaging 4 boards a game.

    The Kings should make the PO for the 1st time in 14 years…with Richaun Holmes, energy guy.

    Well, it will be tougher for Josh Jackson and the Grizzlies.

    But Baynes and Tyler Johnson can’t wait their buyouts in february, depth for PO teams.

     Old Bender, The guy was hyped as the next Porzingas…The issue with him is unfortunately he went to a team that was a) tanking and b) clearly had no big man coach worth anything…Unfortunately MB(from thunder-who did a solid job with Adams and Kanter) arrived just after he left and monty came in….

    The bucks will be a good spot for him and have a system more Euro league style of play which will help his game…

    The only issue is will he get regular mins to keep his confidence high? As I personally would probably play him over Erasan and have a Big man/front court rotation of Brook and Robin at C and Giannis and Bender at PF with Ersan being a back up SF..
