For Michael Jordan it was the tongue-wagging fade away jump shot, for Allen Iverson it was the ankle-breaking killer crossover and for Kareem Abdul-Jabbar it was the net-scorching sky hook; the recurring theme among all great players is a great move.

Every Monday during the hoops season we’ll scour the globe to check in with the country’s most elite players and have them dish on one of the many sure-fire juke-moves they implement throughout the course of a game.

This week we caught up with Centennial (Las Vegas) sophomore point guard Troy Brown Jr., the top ranked point guard and No. 2 overall player in the ESPN 25.

THE MOVE: The Double/Opposite Crossover

THE EXECUTION: “Basically I crossover from left to right then, really quick, I’ll cross back over from right to left. It’s a quick “bam-bam” and then I go right by them to basket. They key is stepping hard right if you’re crossing left and the same the other way because the step is the thing that gets the defender going the wrong way. Then, also you’ve gotta keep the ball low because people usually reach for the first one and then they’re off balance for the second cross. I don’t really use it a whole lot; I only use it when I need it in clutch situations.”

THE SELL: “If you do this move the right way… They WON’T stop it!”
