Kings guard Ben McLemore signs with Rich Paul’s Klutch Sports Group

Aligning yourself with LeBron James is good business these days. On the heels of James’ return to Cleveland, his agent, Rich Paul, negotiated a five-year, $70 million contract for Eric Bledsoe with the Phoenix Suns. Now, Paul is adding Sacramento Kings shooting guard Ben McLemore to his roster, according to the official Twitter account for his Klutch Sports Group:

McLemore becomes the eighth NBA player to sign with Paul, joining James, Bledsoe, Tristan Thompson, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Cory Joseph, Norris Cole and Kevin Seraphin. The former No. 7 pick won’t be eligible for a rookie extension — and its accompanying payday — until the summer of 2016, but if the Kings keep up their hot start, he’ll have a good case to get paid.
