MOBILE, Alabama - LeFlore's Reginald Todd is ranked No. 98 on the latest Rivals 150 list of top 2016 basketball prospects.

The 6-foot-4, 187-pound rising junior, who can play either guard position, already has offers from Illinois State and Middle Tennessee State. He also is receiving heavy interest from a number of other schools, including Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Wake Forest, Tennessee and South Alabama.

"Reginald is really good, and he is just beginning to kind of scratch the surface," LeFlore coach Eric Lovett said. "I'm not sure he realizes his own potential yet. Most of the stuff he is doing right now, he is doing on raw talent. Once he starts improving fundamentally, his ceiling is going to be very high."

Todd played on a senior-laden LeFlore team this past season that included stars Walter Massey and Chance Morton. He has made his biggest impression early in his basketball career playing for the Alabama Legends and Alabama Challenge teams in AAU basketball.

His coach, Kirven Lang, said he scored 21 points in bringing his team back from a 20-point deficit against Rivals No. 10 player Terrance Ferguson and the MWA Elite. Todd helped his team climb all the way back into contention, though the Elite eventually won.

"He has only been playing basketball for three years," said Lang, who has coached Todd in summer basketball since the eighth grade. "He is basically playing off raw talent. His slashing is probably his biggest strength right now. He has a real high IQ for someone who has only played for three years. He's also a very underrated passer."

Both Lang and Lovett agreed that Todd needed to work on his mid-range and outside jumper to perfect his all-around game. Todd also plays wide receiver on the LeFlore football team and is former Williamson and LSU quarterback Jamarcus Russell's cousin.

Lovett said Todd should have a good group of players around him at LeFlore this season despite the graduation of Massey, Morton and seven other seniors.

"He'll have help around him," Lovett said. "We should be able to allow him to play to his strength and do what he needs to do. We've got some nice post guys coming in. We have a lot of pieces to put around Reginald, and that will allow me to move him around really anywhere offensively from the 1 to the 4 position. We should really be able to take advantage of his quickness."

Todd was one of just three rising juniors with Alabama ties on the list.

Madison Academy's Joshua Langford, a 6-4, 185-pound shooting guard was ranked No. 21 on the list. He has multiple offers, including Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, N.C. State, Tennessee, UAB and Vanderbilt.

Lamonte Turner, a former Sparkman High player now attending Arlington Country Day, was ranked No. 10. Turner is a 6-2, 165-pound point guard. Turner has offers from Florida, Oklahoma and South Carolina, among others.
