Watch Kyrie Irving go off for career-high 57 points against Spurs

The Cleveland Cavaliers took on the San Antonio Spurs last night in a game that many were tagging as a possible NBA Finals preview. What looked like a game the Spurs had in the bag was forced into overtime and then eventually won by a superhuman effort from Kyrie Irving, who went off for a career-high 57 points and I think at one point had actual lightning bolts shooting out of his fingers.

The Spurs had no answers. I mean, what are you supposed to do with this?

Irving’s stat line boggles the mind: 20 of 27 from the field, 7 of 7 from beyond the arc, and a perfect 10 for 10 from the free throw line.

Perhaps most impressive is how he did it in a tight game that went to overtime, against an incredible (yes, they’re incredible again, as always) Spurs team, in a game his team really wanted to win.
