If you haven’t heard of the UCLA point guard recruit yet, meet Chino Hills (Calif.) senior Lonzo Ball. Here he is putting back a dunk that made mincemeat out of the defense below. The video, via Prep Circuit, shows Ball receiving a technical — which seems a bit excessive — for his acrobatic dunk during the annual Battle Zone tournament at Corona Centennial.

Honestly, how does one not celebrate a dunk like this? Here it is again. And again. And again.

Can we just call put-back dunks like this Lonzo Balling? Like, “Did you see what Russell Westbrook did last night? He dropped a Lonzo Ball on everybody.” Even better news for UCLA: Lonzo has two little brothers, LiAngelo and LaMelo, who are both Bruins commits.

It’s about time UCLA started Balling again.
