Weaver (Conn.) tops St. Ray's (N.Y.) behind huge performance from Chaylyn Martin at Hoophall Classic

Chaylyn Martin had arguably the best game of his career, helping Weaver (CT) fend off St. Raymond (NY) 76-70 to close out day three at the Hoophall Invitational.

Martin, a 6-foot-1 junior, was exceptional against the Ravens, and he did it in all facets of the game. The Beavers’ star tallied 28 points points and 16 rebounds rebounds, both games highs, en route to one of the best overall performances from day one.

Weaver led comfortably throughout most of the game, leading the game by 15 points at three different points, only to see St. Ray’s cut the lead to five with just under three minutes to play.
