Chef of the Week
In sports the term “cookin” is reserved for a player who goes on a scoring spree or gets hot during a game and makes big plays on the offensive end.
This week’s “Chef of the Week” award winner is Advanced Prep International (Dallas) shooting guard Terrance Ferguson for dropping, count ‘em, seven three-pointers and scoring 21 points to lead Team USA past the World Select Team 101-67 last weekend in the Nike Hoop Summit.
Ferguson’s seven threes set a new Nike Hoop Summit record.
True chef behavior indeed.
Poster of the Week
This week’s Poster of the Week winner is Trinity Christian Academy’s (Jacksonville, Fla.) Shaun Wade for dropping the hammer on a defender at a recent AAU tournament.
Wade brought the ball up the sideline and, when he saw no one was stopping the ball, he darted to the paint and rose over a defender who thought about trying to take the charge then rethought it much too late.
With these hops, Wade, a five-star cornerback who is committed to Ohio State, may have to think about which sport he wants to play.

Oh No They Didn’t!
This award is reserved for the player who turned in a mind-boggling performance or play that left the crowd in a state of shock and amazement.
This week’s “Oh No They Didn’t” winner is LeBron James Jr. for putting on an absolute clinic at the Buckeye Prep Invitational last week.
That’s right the King’s son has skills! Naturally.
James was easily the best player on the court.
Showing dominant skills despite being a fifth grader? Oh yes he did.
