In four seasons at Ohio, Cooper averaged 14.5 points, 6.5 assists and 4.3 rebounds and started 139 of 143 games. He's the only player in NCAA Division I history to record at least 2,000 points, 900 assists, 600 rebounds and 300 steals in his college career, and he finished as Ohio's all-time leader in assists (934), steals (327) and three-pointers (274). He averaged 14.1 points, 7.1 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 2.0 steals as a senior, when he was named the Mid-American Conference Player of the Year and an honorable mention AP All-American. Cooper had a solid showing at the Portsmouth Invitational, where he averaged 11.7 points, 7.3 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals in three games.
